Jim headed out to Atlantic City on Sunday, May 18, 2003 from Seattle, Washington to pick up his new 50th Anniversary Corvette Coupe at Kerbeck's. Kerbeck's is the worlds largest corvette dealer for model years 1994 - 2002. I made the same trip two years ago when I purchased my 2001 Corvette "Pewter" Coupe from the same dealer. I wish that I had made notes from my trip so that I could have shared them, but I didn't. So I asked Jim if he would take notes from his trip. Jim called me this morning, Tuesday May 20, 2003 to let me know that he was at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY . They have video cams all throughout the site, so I was able to follow his progress online and snap a few photos. The quality is not very good because the pictures are from webcams, but at least you will get the idea of what he saw. I hope you enjoy them. He was headed to Tennessee last time I talked with him, to visit with his niece, Julie, her husband Robert, and their daughter Hailey. He will be picking up Andrew at the airport in Denver, Colorado on Friday so that they can ride the rest of the way home together. They plan on visiting the Crazy Horse Memorial and Mount Rushmore in South Dakota on their way home.

The pictures above were taken outside the museum, and are of Jim and his New Car. That car is a real beauty!
The pictures to the left and right were taken from the museum lobby.
The picture to the left is from the racing area of the museum, and the picture to the right is from the nostalgic area of the museum.
The car right behind Jim in the photo to the left above was being prepared to be delivered to its new owner at the exact moment that he got to that area. The pictures to the center and right above are of the car being driven through the museum to be delivered.
These pictures were taken in two different delivery areas in the museum.
